Allyson Masters, the owner of Impressions Boutique in Wheaton said the pieces are beautifully made.But she said there's just one problem, the sizing was all wrong.“I could not get the two tops I received to fit anybody," Masters said.The owners of other area boutiques have expressed similar concerns. And many were still waiting for a call back from the company on Thursday.But these are concerns Knowles public relations people were apparently not prepared to address. The King of Cool, Miles Davis, was posthumously inducted into Hollywood's RockWalk on Thursday. The event was attended by musicians and members of the Davis family, including his son, Erin, and daughter, Cheryl.
While living icons have had their handprints immortalized on the sidewalk gallery outside the Guitar Center on Sunset Boulevard, a bronze bust of Davis will be put on display outside the store instead. Davis died in 1991 at age 65.
Davis first picked up the trumpet at age 13 and made his recording debut in 1947. He was renowned for morphing his cool jazz into fusion and experimental sounds that later gave way to jazz funk and hip-hop grooves. His many many legendary albums include "Round About Midnight," "Birth of the Cool" and "Kind of Blue."

Nelly may have his critics, but there are eight people who can thank their lives for him--literally.
Three years ago, the St. Louis rapper founded a nonprofit named Jes Us 4 Jackie with his sister Jackie Donahue, who was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia in March 2001.
The foundation was launched as a way to raise awareness about the disease and to find a possible bone marrow donor for Donahue, who passed away in March 2005 after her leukemia came out of remission.
Death rates from leukemia, which is a cancer of the white blood cells, are highest amongst African-Americans.
"We are still pushing. We've been able to find eight different matches and we were able to save eight different lives," Nelly told AllHipHop.com. "You can say what you want about Nelly, but Nelly has saved eight different lives and I don't know anybody that's done that."
Jes Us 4 Jackie found matches for various children and adults within the first two years of operation. The latest success story for the foundation involves a young lady in California. Nelly's aunt Chalena Mack, who coincidentally runs the foundation, was found to be an exact match.

"My album is going to come out next year, probably third or fourth quarter," Nelly said. "I want to make sure everything is right."


I like Nelly. He is cute, cute, and he has a heart. His music is different and I like it because it aint about gang banging in the streets of St. Louis. Ya Know!!! I wish him blessings with his foundation and family.

He has two sons, and Sean "Diddy" Combs is about to find out what having daughters is like. "I'm having twin girls," Diddy, 36, tells Vibe in its November issue, the Associated Press reports. "People say, to a so-called ladies' man or whatever, that when you have girls it changes you," says Diddy, whose new album, Press Play, is due Oct. 17. "So I was like, 'What's God trying to tell me by giving me two girls?' When I pray every morning, I thank God for showing me what he showed me while I still have a chance to enjoy myself."

Maybe this will slow his butt down. It is just something about daughters that do that to a man.

TERRELL OWENS ATTEMPTED SUICIDE???

CNN REPORTS ...

WFAA-TV in Dallas is reporting that Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens attempted to commit suicide Tuesday night.
According to a Dallas Police report obtained by the station, Owens was depressed and reportedly took prescription pain pills.
WFAA says the report states a woman companion said that she observed Owens putting two pills in his mouth. The woman said the prescription of 40 pills was filled on September 18 and -- until Tuesday -- Owens had taken only five pills. The police report said Owens was asked if he had taken the rest of the prescription; Owens said, "Yes."
The Dallas Cowboys have no comment on the story.

More than two and a half years after her breast was exposed to nearly 100 million viewers during the Super Bowl, Janet Jackson has finally spoken out about the debacle and insists she shouldn't have apologized. The singer taped an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey show on September 7, where she discussed the fiasco for the first time. Jackson apologized for the "wardrobe malfunction" days after the event occurred, but now says she regrets saying sorry because it made her look guilty for something that was an accident. The 40-year-old star told Winfrey she has not spoken with Justin Timberlake since their performance on February 1, 2004, when he infamously ripped her costume, leaving her partially naked. When Winfrey asked if she felt betrayed, Jackson would not answer directly, but said cryptically, "Loyalty comes first to me." Jackson, whose appearance on Winfrey's show will air on September 26, claims she doesn't hold a grudge against the "Sexyback" singer and still considers him a friend.

In 1993, at age sixteen, Kandi, along with Tiny and sisters LeTocha and Tamika Scott released their first single “Just Kicking It” off their debut album, Hummin', Comin' At 'Cha on So So Def Records, establishing themselves as four girls from around the way that could harmonize tighter than established contemporaries. Still, a number of things led to the disbandment of Xscape. The petty: someone in the group steals Kandi’s diary out of her purse while on tour. The complicated: inept management of the group finds the label profiting more than the talent. Fights break out among the girls, specifically LeTocha and Kandi, over the group’s inefficient helming by their manager who also happens to be LeTocha’s boyfriend. During negotiations for their third record, Traces Of My Lipstick, LeTocha works out a solo deal without telling members of the band who ultimately find out through word of mouth. I seen that play it was really good. It starred Brian Mcknight, Karyn Malina White, and Wendy Raquel Robinson. Whitney Houston has filed for divorce from her husband Bobby Brown, her publicist told The Associated Press on Wednesday.
Publicist Nancy Seltzer declined to reveal where or when Houston filed the divorce papers, and said the singer had no statement to make.
"I can just confirm that she has filed for divorce," Seltzer said.

TMZ has confirmed that rapper 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson) was arrested around 2:00PM this afternoon in Manhattan. Law enforcement officials in an unmarked car pulled over the star's silver Lamborghini at the corner of 8th Ave. and 35th Ave. in Midtown New York after they say he made an unsafe lane change.

Police issued 50 four summons: one for an unsafe lane change, one because his driver's license had expired, one because his Lambo is unregistered with the state and another because the car is also uninsured. He was issued the tickets and released.

CIARA NEW ALBUM CALLED "EVOLUTION"

R&B singer Ciara is hard at work on her sophomore project “The Evolution.” The singer, who has been crowned the "First Lady of Crunk & B," says she did not want to be boxed in to just one type of sound for this album. She tells MTV.com, "I'm giving you music you can yeek to," referring to an ATL dance embraced by Outkast in "The Way You Move" video, among others. "We used to yeek in Atlanta — it's an energy that's crazy," she explained. "It's cool, heavy [on] 808 [drums]. Unfortunately, back then it was never given the opportunity to be exposed worldwide. So I feel like, as I'm given the chance to do it, I'm gonna embrace it." For this project, she's working with a host of new names with contributions from regulars like Jazze Pha. Now, I’m excited about all the new producers I'm working with. They're actually new; they've never been on any artist's album, period. And that’s special to me because that's what their dream is and I'm giving them the chance to do it. To me it's all about that new person and that new energy," she tells MTV. The singer also revealed she'll be writing and producing tracks for this album. "Oh my goodness," she exclaimed. "Everything is so exciting, honestly. Marion Jones' latest comeback came in a laboratory, where her backup sample turned up clean -- a stunning twist that clears her to compete and could validate a long list of triumphs sullied by years of doping allegations.
The "B" sample taken from one of the world's best-known and most decorated sprinters did not detect the banned endurance enhancer EPO, her attorneys said Wednesday night.

The finding means her initial positive result is thrown out, clearing her of the most recent -- and most damaging -- allegations against Jones and paving the way for her return to the track.
"I am absolutely ecstatic," Jones said in a statement released by her lawyers. "I have always maintained that I have never ever taken performance enhancing drugs, and I am pleased that a scientific process has now demonstrated that fact."

LL Cool J used the opportunity to lash out at Def Jam Records. "I think Def Jam needs to be a better promoter of hip hop," he griped in the green room. So does he think Def Jam CEO Jay-Z has dropped the ball? "I think Jay-Z does a very good job...of promoting Jay-Z," he sniped.

Everybody that was associated with hip hop is basically gone from Def Jam and went somewhere else. Method Man was also complaining in an interview (Go Here) that Def Jam was not promoting his album at all. Personally I havent heard anything from Method Man in circulation.
