HULK HOGAN'S SON IN SERIOUS CAR ACCIDENT
The son of professional wrestler Hulk Hogan was seriously injured in a car crash Sunday night, police said.
A Toyota Supra driven by Nick Bollea was traveling at a high rate of speed at approximately 7:30 p.m., Clearwater Police spokesman Wayne Shelor said. Bollea, which is Hogan's real name, lost control and hit a raised median. The car flipped around, and the back end hit a palm tree.
"The car was destroyed," Shelor said.
Bollea and an unidentified male passenger were extricated from the car by paramedics, Shelor said. Then they were airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg. Their official conditions were not immediately available, but Shelor described the injuries of both men as serious.
The crash occurred on State Route 60, a main drag through downtown Clearwater. The road had to be shut down in both directions for several hours, Shelor said.
Alcohol is not believed to have played a part in the crash. The crash seems to have been caused by excessive speed, Shelor said.
Bollea appears on the reality TV show "Hogan Knows Best" with his father, mother and sister.

Now I watch Hulk Hogan's show and he has warned this dummy that if he started driving fast that he was going to hurt himself. He took him to the scared straight program at the police department and everything. He was showed a very explicit video of an accident when speed was involved. I hope he is doing well.

The husband of televangelist Juanita Bynum turned himself in to authorities Friday to face charges after a confrontation in which his wife was badly bruised. Bishop Thomas Weeks III, the founder of Global Destiny churches, surrendered at the Fulton County Jail to face charges of aggravated assault and terroristic threats. He declined to speak to reporters as he entered the jail.

JUANITA BYNUM BEAT BADLY BY ESTRANGED MINISTER HUSBAND
Juanita Bynum, a preacher whose fiery and frank sermons about women's empowerment have won her a national following, was attacked by her husband in the parking lot of an Atlanta hotel early Wednesday morning, police said.
Bynum, whose ministry is based in Waycross, and her estranged husband, Thomas W. Weeks III, had met up at Renaissance Concourse Hotel near Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to try to reconcile, Atlanta police said.
But while at the parking lot about 4 a.m., the two got into a physical fight until a bellman at the hotel pulled Bynum's husband off her, Officer Ronald Campbell said.

"She was bruised up and battered," Campbell said. "She had purple bruising around her neck and upper torso."
The husband, who is also a preacher, left the scene. No charges have been filed against him, according to police.
Police found out about the fray from a staff member at Piedmont Hospital, where Bynum was taken for a checkup. She could not be reached Wednesday night.

RUTGERS WOMEN'S BBALL PLAYER SUES IMUS
A member of the Rutgers women's basketball team has sued Don Imus and CBS, claiming the radio personality's sexist and racist comments about the team damaged her reputation.
Kia Vaughn filed the lawsuit alleging slander and defamation of character in state Supreme Court in the Bronx Tuesday, the same day Imus settled with CBS Radio in a deal that pre-empts his threatened $120 million breach-of-contract lawsuit against CBS. The settlement allows him to make a comeback bid at a new station.
Vaughn's lawsuit, believed to be the first by a player in the case, says Imus and his former co-host Bernard McGuirk, along with CBS Corp. and CBS Radio, are legally responsible for damage done to her character and reputation. There is no dollar amount listed in the suit.
Vaughn was humiliated, embarrassed and publicly mocked for the comments, the lawsuit claims. Her attorney, Richard Ancowitz, said: "The full effect of the damage remains to be seen."

BUSTA RHYMES SUED FOR BEATING SOMEBODY
Busta Rhymes has been sued by a man who alleges the rapper and his crew beat him after he spit on one of their cars. In the lawsuit filed Monday in Manhattan state Supreme Court, Roberto LeBron, 20, charged that he was kicked in the head after an encounter with Rhymes and his nine bodyguards in August 2006.
Rhymes' attorney, Scott Leemon, said he hadn't seen the lawsuit.
''Nothing has been proven yet,'' Leemon said.
The 35-year-old rapper, whose real name is Trevor Smith, faces trial for allegedly assaulting a fan after an Aug. 12, 2006, performance at a music festival on Randalls Island.

My two cents about this is that Eddie Murphy is a punk. I don't give a flying fig about what excuse he has because he doesn't have one. There is no excuse of why he has not seen that beautiful child. Even if you don't like the mother, you arrange to see the child. I have read on other blogs of people attacking Mel. B for having a child for someone she wasn't with very long. But let's calculate how long TRACI AND EDDIE have been together. Traci keeps saying that they have been together since October 2006. So that means it hasn't even been a year yet and they are ENGAGED!! So really what is the difference between her and Traci. I guess you say Traci has the ring. But the ring don't mean nothing when you marrying a trifling man.
What is Traci thinking through all of this? You telling me she is willing to go through all this fire with Eddie??? You telling me she ain't just a little bit scared about the man she is engaged to? Some of these interviews she has done, you can tell she is trying to get bout it like she was there through their relationship. When all she knows about this relationship is what Eddie told her. Melanie Brown filed a Superior Court petition Wednesday that seeks to legally establish Eddie Murphy as the father of her 4-month-old daughter.
Brown will also seek sole custody of Angel Iris Murphy Brown and reasonable child support, attorney Gloria Allred said at a press conference.
"I am here today for one reason and one reason only; her name is Angel," Brown said. "Angel is my baby and Eddie's. She will always know that she was planned and wanted by both of us."
Murphy was promising to do the right thing, but to date he has not done the right thing," said Allred. "Mr. Murphy can have all the babies he chooses to have, but his responsibility needs to be to his own children. [Brown] is seeking sole physical and legal custody." Still, Allred said Brown would be happy to arrange for Murphy to see his daughter regularly "like millions of parents do."

After months of rumors, Nicole Richie confirmed Tuesday that she is pregnant. "Yes I am. We are," Richie told ABC News' Diane Sawyer for an interview to be aired this week. "I'm almost four months." Richie's boyfriend, Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, is the father, she told ABC, which issued a news release about the interview.

As rumors persist that the 11-year marriage between actor Duane Martin and actress Tisha Campbell Martin is coming to an end, the couple called Sister 2 Sister Publisher Jamie Foster Brown to clear things up. They said that they usually don't respond to rumors, but when Jamie left a voice message asking if the sad story was true, they felt that her concern was genuine and called her back. "They said, 'We have no idea where this came from,'" Jamie said. During the call, the happy couple laughed off the rumors and made jokes. They have confirmed that they haven't been talking divorce and they're excited about their son starting school in the fall.

Corey Clarkhas been arrested on drug charges and an outstanding warrant from Arizona, authorities said.
The former ''American Idol'' contestant was being held at the Pulaski County jail pending a court appearance Tuesday in North Little Rock, said John Rehrauer, a spokesman for the sheriff's department.
Clark was arrested near Interstate 40 at about 2:30 a.m. Monday on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, Rehrauer said.
A warrant had been issued for Clark after he failed to appear in an Arizona court on a summons stemming from an arrest last year for violating a court order and trespassing.
Clark was disqualified after reaching the finals of the popular Fox TV show in 2003 for failing to reveal a previous arrest.
