LET'S GET GIRLFRIENDS A PROPER SEND OFF

The rumors are true. Girlfriends is cancelled. That is fine. I can deal with that. But the way the CW is just canceling the show without a season finale. I feel it to be a slap in the face to let us know after this week's new episodes, by the way these were the final episodes of the show. WTF!!!! WTF!!!
They bragged about Girlfriends being one of the longest running shows and you treat it like this????? I am so confused. Is it not worth it.
But I should not be surprised. The CW did the same thing to Half and Half. We all wanted to know who Mona was going to choose. And then the following week, we find out that the show had not been renewed, but instead they kept that bore of a show "ALL OF US". Again, I say WTF!!!!!

Well below is the email information for the CW dummies in charge. I have already sent my email. Make sure you send yours.

We need to do something grand like the fans of Jercho. They sent a ton of peanuts to cbs. The show is back for a full season. Girlfriends needs to finish it season and come back for one more year for the record. I will donate if the fans get together to send something to cw or cbs.

i think that cancelling the show without a series finale is wrong, but are really shocked? the sisterhood of the show was so called great, but was it? the got rid of the best one tony, the darkest sista, so honestly i got tired of seeing lynn slutting around , that was not a hot look! the show wsa trying to keep upwith white people so thats what happens, plus golden brooks looked a hot mess! she was turning whitter every show. say no to surjery!honestly what needs to be off the air is gossip girl, and that teach young girls how to be a slut ANTM, with tyra banks, she is not agood example for sistas , cause she looks like a Barbie. peace!

They should let girlfriends have an ending they have been on for a long time and to not have an ending is just crazy. The only show I know that had an ending is the parkers and girlfriends deserve one thank you nana2363

Please give Girlfriends a final episode like you do with every other show. That is really unfair. This show should not be cancelled.

I really imagined a finale with the most amazing wedding ever for Joan, and Toni being there. I'm am devestated that my favorite show ever has been cancelled after all of these years that I've invested into it. Then to see the Pussycat dolls show come on when Girlfriends comes on makes me sick to my stomach to the point where I'm ready to boycott the CW network altogether.

I do not know whose eyes will be privileged to read this letter but I hope that it finds someone whose heart is willing to listen. For years I have watched Joan, Lynn, Maya, Toni and more recently Monica grow into their womanhood as their journey continuously reminds me that life can suck sometimes but with friends each moment is worth living. It disheartens me to find out that after eight long years that the show is being canceled with no closure. As a current medical student, I understand how important the bottom line (ratings and money) is and appreciate the fact that the show as been in production for so long but it is human nature to long for, need and deserve closure. As a female who values the little extra time she can find to enjoy something outside of bacteria, viruses, drugs and patient centered medicine finds her loyalty to and appreciation for your network unappreciated and undervalued. I understand and accept that fact that the show has to come to an end but I and the rest of the two million or so loyal watchers of girlfriends would appreciate it if the network executives would find it in their hearts to give our girlfriends a proper, gracious and deserved farewell.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this short letter. I hope that it has found an open and willing heart.
God Bless!!!!!!!

I never thought I would as close to a group of women as I do my own girls. This show, Girlfriends, is to me what my girls are. They make me laugh, cry, get angry and scream. I love this show and all the quirky personalities. We have seen these women -- Joan, Maya, Toni, Lynn and Monica -- butterfly; they showed us that they were more than pretty faces and career driven women. There is so much more to them. They are a reflection of me and my girls.

I feel betrayed that I don't even get a Season Finale. I refuse to believe that the CW, who made millions off their merger, does not have or will not provide that for their loyal viewers. Where is the respect and loyalty for "the longest running show of its kind"? It just proves to me that the more things change the more they stay the same.

That's messed up! I liked girlfriends... After all the hard work that theses hard working women (and Men) put in for the last 8 years, they and their viewing audience deserve a proper send off. I've watched this show back from the times Joan would have private conversations with herself and the audience. The show was relatable to females that only have a small group of friends. PLEASE!!!!! GIVE US A FINALE! WE Crave, Need, and Deserve it.
