Kris Allen came out the winner in the most shocking American Idol ever. Everyone was sure that Adam Lambert was going to win. But ohh welll...on to SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE!!!

It's interesting to see how his hometown pulled together to support him as a local make-good. At the same time, it's a little disturbing to see how the residents go all-out to show their support. Twenty thousand people showed up to see his concert. That's almost half the population of the town. No matter what the actual number of votes was from the state, he had a lot of support from his local contingent that maybe Adam did not get from SF. No one said that Idol was only about talent.
That said, someone had better give Adam a contract.
Adam should have on hands down.
Hopefully he does jus fine.
congrats to Kris, he stuck it out, got the votes he needed when he needed them and ended up winning the whole thing; he's like a politician, only more sincere
