ADAM GOLDSTEIN AKA DJ AM FOUND DEAD IN APARTMENT

Club-owner and celebrity scratcher Adam Goldstein, who was far better known by the moniker DJ AM, was found dead Friday morning in his New York apartment, E! News has confirmed. He was 36.Details have been sparse so far, but the New York Fire Department has confirmed that a body was discovered at Goldstein's Lafayette Street address at 5:24 p.m. and was pronounced dead at 6 p.m. The body was not transported from the scene afterward.The New York Post, citing NYPD insiders, have reported that drug paraphernalia was found near the body.Goldstein, who along with Travis Barker survived a fiery plane crash that killed four others last year, had recently finished shooting an eight-episode series for MTV about addiction, Gone Too Far, in which he opened up about his past struggles with substance abuse.

Within m inutes of the news breaking, Barker's ex, Shanna Moakler, had tweeted: "My deepest condolences for DJ AM, you were a great artist and will be severely missed. My thoughts and Prayers to his family and friends.

The Merge Summit LA was held in Los Angeles this past weekend. This conference is designed to inspire and empower men and women of faith desiring to do business in the areas of arts and media. Tasha Smith was there on Day 2 giving her Acting Workshop.

RHOA STAR: WE WERE NOT EVICTED

Despite reports that Lisa Wu Hartwell and husband, Ed, were evicted from their Atlanta home, the housewife tells PEOPLE.com, "We chose to move, we were not evicted."

Adds Hartwell, 38, "It was decision that we made and not one that was made for us. But we were not put out."

As for the TMZ report that the couple defaulted on their bank loan, she re-affirms that an attempt to restructure the loan "didn't work out," but her family was "not evicted, it was a short-sell. It was not a foreclosure."

Admitting she has felt the pressure of the recession, she says the couple and their children have moved into a new "downsized" home in a neighboring community.

Scrutiny and blog buzz "make me laugh," adds Hartwell, but it's nothing compared to the catfights on the show.

JENNIFER HUDSON WELCOMES BABY BOY

Dreamgirl Jennifer Hudson just met her little dream boy.

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson and fiancé David Otunga welcomed David Daniel Otunga Jr. late Monday, E! News confirms. The tot weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces.

"The baby is beautiful and perfect," Hudson rep Lisa Kasteler said in a statement. "His parents are ecstatic."

The 27-year-old former American Idol contestant never officially announced her pregnancy, although speculation began when she wore increasingly loose-fitting tops. In early June, her longtime friend Felicia Fields admitted to having attended Hudson's gender-neutral baby shower in their hometown of Chicago.

Hudson and Otunga decided to wait to find out the tyke's sex until his birthday.

RHOA LISA WU HARTWELL HOME FORECLOSED ON.

Hartwell and her husband, former Oakland Raiders linebacker Edgerton Hartwell, were booted from their multi-million dollar Georgia mansion last week -- after the couple defaulted on their loan and the bank sold it shortly after.

Hartwell's rep tells us the couple was in talks with the lender to restructure the loan because the home had lost value -- but that failed. They originally bought the place for $2.9 mil back in 2007 -- but the bank only got $1.9 mil when they resold it this month.

The rep says "Ed and Lisa are fine. They have settled in their [new] home, that sits on 10 acres and they OWN it!
