ALICIA KEYS AND SWIZZ BEATZ CONFIRM ENGAGEMENT AND PREGNANCY
The 29-year-old R&B singer is pregnant with her first child, her representatives confirmed.
They would not say when the child is due.
Weeks of photos have shown Keys noticeably fuller in the mid-section and sporting a collection of loose-fitting black tops.
The father is Keys' fiance, producer/DJ/rapper Swizz Beatz.
The couple is engaged to be married in a private ceremony later this year.
Swizz Beatz, 31, -- whose real name is Kasseem Dean -- has one son from his marriage to Mashonda Tifrere. He also has a second son from a previous relationship.
Swizz Beatz and Keys have been friends for several years and worked together on one song for her current album, "The Element of Freedom," the publicist said.
"They're very happy," a source close to the couple said.

So 50 Cent dropped about 50 lbs for his new role as a football player that has a cancer in the movie "Things Fall Apart". Looking at these pictures a brother should get an award for just the transformation. Word on the street is that 50 Cent went on a 9 week liquid diet combined with a three hour a day walk on a treadmill. WOW!! 50 Cent is going after that Oscar nomination hard. The movie has wrapped taping and 50 Cent is on tour. So please go and eat.

TYRA BANKS RETURNS TO MODELING
It was officially announced yesterday that Tyra has signed an endorsement deal with IMG to guide her company in the right direction. The deal will give Banks commercial endorsements and fashion related opportunities.

Ciara has finally confirmed that BET has banned her video "Ride" from their video shows. I saw the video and was surprised at how provocative it was. We all know that the majority of her audience is made up of young girls. For her to make this video this raunchy kinda took me back. But I guess whatever sells records right. I'm glad they banned the video. Maybe this is a start to BET cleaning up their act a little bit. TV One is on their heels. Ex- Atlanta Housewife Deshawn Snow is sent divorce papers

Former NBA player Eric Snow has filed for divorce from his wife DeShawn Graves Snow, a former star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."
Eric Snow filed divorce papers in Fulton County Superior Court on Wednesday. The two have been married for 12 years but are currently separated. They live in Alpharetta.
There is "no hope of reconciliation," the court papers state.
In the documents, Eric Snow has requested that he and DeShawn Snow have joint custody of their three children, Eric Javon Snow; Darius Michael Snow; and Jarren Christopher Snow.
Wow. I would have never seen this coming. I hope their divorce is a peaceful one for their kids sakes. Especially since she is a minister at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and in seminary.

Bobby Brown proposed to his girlfriend of nearly three years, Alicia Etheridge, onstage in Florida over the weekend.
Playing a show at the Funk Fest concert at Jacksonville's Metro Park on Friday night, according to the Florida Times-Union, Brown was joined onstage by Etheridge with their 11-month-old son, Cassius, on hand. He then got on one knee and asked Etheridge, his manager, to marry him.
Speaking to the Florida Times-Union, fans said that the crowd went crazy when Brown popped the question. "We shouted, we screamed," Carol Pearsall told the paper. "We supported him." Her husband, Paul, added, "Hopefully he'll get it right this time."

When you see Damon Wayans and Red Hats in the same sentence, nothing comes to mind what the relationship could be. Well, Damon Wayans had penned his first novel called "Red Hats". The book was inspired by his mother and her fellow sisters of the Red Hat Society.
Red Hats an inspirational story about a recently widowed senior citizen woman, Alma, who rediscovers life through a special group of pals that call themselves the “Red Hats.”
