NBA Investigating Jay-Z

An NBA spokesman confirms that the league is investigating Jay-Z's presence in Kentucky's locker room after the Wildcats clinched a Final Four berth.

The rapper visited the players after their victory over North Carolina on Sunday at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J, home of the Nets. Jay-Z is a part-owner of the team and attended the Nets' 120-116 loss at New York on Wednesday.

NBA rules prohibit team personnel from having contact with players who are not yet draft eligible, and spokesman Tim Frank told the Associated Press the league is looking into it.

The investigation was first reported by CBSSports.com.

TMZ is reporting that Jim Jones was recently arrested for driving with a suspended license.  He is still in custody. Is there something int he water.  This past Sunday, Angie Stone was arrested for driving with a suspended license on her way to church.

From the upcoming FOX animated film, RIO, comes “Telling The World,” the latest track from Taio Cruz. R&B Star Angie Stone arrested

Angie's rep tells TMZ, the singer was completely blindsided by the run-in with cops -- because she had no idea there was a warrant out for her arrest.

According to the rep, Angie had a prior speeding ticket which went unpaid because she changed addresses recently ... and never got the physical ticket in the mail.

We're told Angie has since paid the ticket -- and is currently in the process of tying up any other legal loose ends.

New Video: Lloyd Premieres New Video "Cupid"

Lloyd hit the stage on Monday night at BET’s Rip the Runway for his first televised performance of the new single “Cupid.” The R and B singer worked the stage performing the Polow Da Don-produced track while rocking a classic white suit and black tie at the annual runway show where music meets fashion. Rip the Runway also featured performances by Keri Hilson, Wiz Khalifa, Fabolous, and Melanie Fiona.

Wendy Williams Sued For Breach of Contract

Media personality, Wendy Williams, is being sued by a concert promoter for being 'ungrateful'.  A concert promoter reportedly paid Ms. Wendy $25,000 to appear at an Atlantic City resort. 

Williams was supposed to make a 2-hour appearance at The Pool at Harrah's Resort.  The suit claims Williams hardly mingled with guests and left after only an hour, after complaining how she and her husband wanted to leave.  According to the lawsuit, Williams was supposed to take the mic on stage, but instead retreated to a cabana.  The suit claims Williams "disappointed her fans who came out expecting her to host the party."

Supposedly, Ms. Wendy and her husband and manager, Kevin Hunter, demanded 4 bottles of Ace of Spades champagne and 2 bottles of white wine at her cabana.  The suit claims Williams and her husband said they wanted to be left alone while they drank.
