TYLER PERRY'S House of Payne CANCELLED, replaced by new series....

 

TBS sitcom House Of Payne has been canceled after five years and seven seasons. The show will be replaced with Perry’s new series For Better Or Worse.

The news of the cancellation comes just a few days after For Better Or Worse was announced.

“Even though it will be sad to say goodbye to House of Payne, I’m really looking forward to exploring new territory with For Better or Worse,” Tyler Perry said in a statement. “Working on House of Payne taught me a lot about what it takes to make a successful television series and I’m looking forward to applying that experience to For Better or Worse.”

For Better For Worse is slated to feature two characters from Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married series of films, Marcus & Angela. There’s no official word yet on whether or not Michael Jai White and Tasha Smith will reprise their roles from the movies on the television series.

The clip takes place in what appears to be a normal school cafeteria, until a flash mob starts and Beyonce Knowles marches in the room rocking curly hair, a white off the shoulder top, denim shorts, and green knee-highs.

President Obama will release long form birth certificate

Per CNN,

The Obama administration is releasing President Barack Obama's long-form birth certificate, White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer announced Wednesday.

Obama will discuss the decision to release the certificate Wednesday morning, the White House announced.

"This whole birther debate has been really bad for the Republican Party," Pfeiffer said. But the discussion is "crowding out the debate" on more important issues and is a distraction, he said.

The so-called "birther" debate is "good politics" but "bad for the country," Pfeiffer added.

Obama released a legally binding "certificate of live birth" in 2008, but many opponents of the president continue to assert he was born overseas and may be constitutionally ineligible to serve as president.

FORMER DESTINY'S CHILD MEMBER ARRESTED

Per TMZ,
Farrah Franklin -- a former member of Destiny's Child -- was arrested for disorderly conduct in Culver City, CA this weekend. Franklin -- who spent 5 months with the group in 2000 before Beyonce and Kelly Rowland gave her the chop -- was arrested at 6:45 AM on Saturday. Sources close to the situation tell us alcohol was involved.

According to the booking sheet, 29-year-old Franklin was released from custody later that day on $100 bail.

Antoine Dodson arrested

Police in Huntsville, Ala., booked the viral video star on a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana; he was in custody a short time, according to TMZ, and released.

Dodson, 24, was charged with other misdemeanors as well: Speeding, failing to appear twice on a traffic charge and failing to have liability insurance.
